The Greatest Bugdet Ever.
Absolutly bang on budget getting every aspect of it right in every possible way and very well thought out.
Hospitals, schools and carers, have been crying out for some proper action for 14 years. Well done labour, the only way is up now for this country with a solid foundation set in place. The cons have been shown how it should be done. Again well done SK.

A farm may be worth £2m, but only if it's sold. Inheriting a farm isn't a windfall. It's a huge commitment (some say burden).
Farms are struggling enough. This will be the end of a lot of farming families.
nicebloke is not "far left" lol. you people have no idea what "the left" is.
reeves shamefully kept the tories' murderous reform to working capability assessments which is predicted to see lots of disabled people lose access to the support they need. a terrible decision and an indefensible one.
the investment in schools and the health service is much needed but it will be swallowed up quite quickly... i suspect it will be enough to stop further decline but not enough to deliver actual improvements. unfortunate that train tickets will be more expensive but probably bearable... i think people are making a massive stink over the NI contributions.
Not even 6th form economics, more like Junior school tuck shop economics.
The ENI hike is just going to destroy jobs. Employers will cut staff and or cancel hireng them. Wage rises will be resisted.
In the end the consumer pays. But Tuck shop Tealeaf can't see it.
Bit of a turkey shoot for Rishi but what a brutal demolision job he did. TST (Tuck Shop Tealeaf) was writhing! Even GOAS looked embarrassed for her.
The tears roll down my face for the likes of Costa and McDonalds having to now pay for their staff opposed to the government filling their wallets.
Lets face most have their knickers in a twist because they've not lost their WFA, they've lost their CBA, the latter being their Christmas Booze Allowance.
"the investment in ....the health service is much needed"
The NHS will consume as much money as is thrown at it. It would consume the country's entire GDP given the chance. It does not need more money. It is awash with money and staff. What it needs is for some of its multitudinous managers to get off their backsides and take a roam around the establishments they allegedly manage. The service is awash with people doing next to nothing, it is rife with duplication and unnecessary bureaucracy and it is obsessed with gender-identity politics to such a degree that, in places, it is becoming unable to properly function because of that obsession. Meanwhile those people who are providing front-line medical care are rushed off their feet.
In the five years to this year, the waiting lists for treatment have increased from around 4.5m to almost 8m. In that five years the numbers of doctors and nurses have both increased by more than 25%. No large organisation would be prepared to see such an increase in its staffing levels whilst the outcomes for its customers deteriorated to such a degree. The NHS is struggling not because of lack of funds or staff, but because it is not being managed properly.
