What kind of cretin, having been offered help from Nigel Farage, one of Trump's closest friends, to try to ease the damaged relationship by the tirade of historic & recent insults on him by members of the Labour Party, offered only for the sake of Britain, would eschew that offer, saying that it was unnecessary because we have a perfectly good foreign secretary in the form of David Lammy -  a clown who has called Trump a Nazi, a Fascist and a KKK member & much more and who thinks Marie Antoinette discovered penicillin ?

If I remember rightly, Farage has offered to put party politics aside and be a link for the good of the country.  Given that very honourable offer - I can't understand either why the Govt. should eschew that offer and use his power to intercede and smooth over the idiocies of their  previous attitudes to him.

It beggars belief, it really does.
