Firms Plan Job Cuts As Employment Costs...

Have woken up to better weather than yesterday anyway! Drove 130 odd miles home yesterday afternoon in dreadful heavy rain/ wind - the car was swaying on the motorway, not v nice at all. Was like it still when I went to bed but seems to have cleared overnight. Have lots of online work to do but am going to do it from the comfort of the sofa I think. Need to pop out but will leave that till later on. Then need to try and get a birthday present for MrSmow rather than leaving it till last sec as per usual! (It's in 12 days). Absolutely no idea what to get! What's everyone's Monday plans??x

No plans for today, storm Hermione has arrived, blowing like mad out there and torrential rain. Few minutes ago saw a fox hurrying across the garden looking very sorry for itself, head down tail tucked under.
Good luck with finding Mr Smow a present, Mr U and I decided a few years ago to give up, we were only getting things we would have bought ourselves in the end.
Morning Smow and all. I feel like we have escaped here in the midlands. I got supplies in and batoned down the hatches, expecting horrendous weather from storm Eowyn. We had some wind, nothing ferocious and rain from yesterday lunchtime. Just a steady downpour, nothing torrential. Today the sun is shining and it is warmer.
Going to the library and shops this afternoon, and catching up with an old friend.
Have a good day everyone.
