no it  is an ex parte application and the full hearin  is tomorrow

the fed judges are hire and fire at the presidents will -BUT they swear to uphold the carnstitootion

not as Trump imagine  his men

The Brits dont have slavish adherence to legislation 1790-1800 but the now apptd supreme court in the Land of the Free ,  does ( originalist and no  change)

so we will have to wait and see.

The US aupreme court has  weird srucure -  - an applicant ( Jarn Smith) can being a case, then the court decides if he is representative of a class

and if they decide he IS,  then the court can set themselves up as amicus patriae -  whaaaaat? and hear the case as a class action . we just dont have that

so you know god knws what will happen

bed time - god I hope to get to 04 00

It's a trial of strength that the judiciary is unlikely to win.

Ultimately everything gets shunted up to the supreme court which has been corrupt since Trump loaded it with MAGA cronies the last time he was in office.

indeed trump controls the supreme court. it already made the horrifying ruling that presidents are immune from criminal prosecution for "all official acts"... i.e. now trump can now break the law however much he pleases. i applaud the efforts of US judges to resist fascism and wish them every success but the supreme court belongs to them. biden should have packed the court.

Increasing hysterics from the usual suspects.

yeah yeah it's all hysterics nothing to see here. go back to your cave.

TDS is strong here.

//biden should have packed the court. //

He should have done alot of things but didn't.

Increasing the number of SC members so it would harder for any president to overly bias it would have been one.

Also getting rid of the 'job for life' aspect of it so that blatantly corrupt and partisan members could be ousted easier.

However, here we are, and it can only get worse as they get replaced over the coming years.
