Still dark here - have just fed the cats and made a cup of tea. Making a list of what needs doing today. Which includes trying to sort out the porch door. It's wooden, and has now swollen so much with the constant rain/damp weather, that the door takes sheer brute strength to pull it open, or push it shut. I assume it's the rain, can't be anything else. But in 18 years I've never known it like this. I almost couldn't open it yesterday, it was wedged closed that tightly!

Need to post some birthday cards etc instead of leaving it to the last second which I always do! I always swear I won't leave it late and then...... yep I've done it again lol! Then inbetween work I mite find some inspiration for dinner this evening!! 
Will be so so glad when we start to have sunny days ........makes the day so much more bearable!

Good Morning Smow and those who follow 😊  I haven't looked out but I  hear quite a gale blowing up from the sea.  I posted a birthday card to a friend for 28 January - she thanked me but reminded me her birthday is  28 February! Oops 😕 Have a good day x

Morning Hazlinny, at least your card wasnt late lol! Reminds me of a couple of years ago when I posted my sister a card. She messaged me again to say Thanku, but that I'd not only forgotten to write in the card & it was empty, but that I'd left the price on!! 🤣🤣🤣

Good morning,  forecast rain leter today, with the promise of the rest of the week being brighter. Quite breezy so will get washing out early and hope I can get to hairdresser and back before the rain starts.

Hope your scan went well yesterday, when will you get the results?, and you did not get stuck in morning traffic.

Afternoon all. I am sorry I have not popped in for a while, I have been visiting Mr R who was admitted to hospital a week ago, its an hour each way from door to bed so visiting takes a good part of the day. He is making progress and was moved from ICU to a ward last night but he is likely to be in for a few days yet. He hates being in hospital and is chaffing at the bit to get home. So today its just me and the dog and some soppy tv programmes
