Don't worry, a new Chief Inspector of Borders and Immigration has just been appointed whose job it will he to assess how well our government is doing at stopping small boats crossing the channel.  His request to work partly from home was accepted initially but his bosses now appear to be having second thoughts.  He lives in Finland.

Apparently he was going to come over on a small boat once a month to experience what conditions were like for those fleeing the war in France. But apparently they were fully booked.
