It's unseasonally warm today but, if the old saying " If March comes in like a lamb, it goes out like a lion" is true, we may have bad weather ahead at end of month - hope not!

I've been sat in the garden (working) but even so it is nice to be outside and feel the sun and listen to the birds.  It was georgeous the weekend before last, but it seemed that winter was still lurking round the corner because we then had 3 cold nights with a frost.

It was warm yesterday, too, but there was a bit of a wind that necessitated wearing a jumper over the t-shirt. Managed to get a couple of lines of washing dried, though - another first for the year😉

It was quite warm the other day and going out in the evening but only a short car drive from home I didn't wear a coat.  I was frozen when we got there.

Oh stop showing off! It's still in the 12-14°(5-6 overnight) range here. 🤨 It was supposed to be 17°. Still not shorts and t shirt weather in my book.

Saw my first butterfly and ladybird today.  The cold will kill them off if the weather changes though.

It's been glorious in Bedford for the past three days. Last night was a very balmy evening. Lovely.
