Electric cars are passe - Mars is the future! 🤣

(43,000 cyber trucks are recalled 'cos bits keep falling off)

Maybe Tesla is simply the front runner when it comes to public rejection of electric cars. The early adopters have had their fun, government schemes to encourage a false, "look we're doing something", image is starting to be too expensive, many realising that the hunt for rare materials for them isn't ecologically friendly anyway, and that vast expense is needed to accommodate heavy electricity powered vehicles. Perhaps other brands are just behind the curve.

Sooner or later we may have to wake up to the fact that the days of jumping in a car, filling it with petrol and driving unlimited distances is rapidly coming to an end.

Before we do that Khandro, the government(yes, the government)will have to start installing hundreds of thousands of charging points right across the country.Chances of that happening are zilch. So i will keep on using my petrol car for as long as it takes.

ynna //.So i will keep on using my petrol car for as long as it takes.//

perhaps that should read 'as long as it lasts'.

and Musk makes moolah out of schmucks like us

and lots of it

( note to sceamers and foo-ers of AB - schmuck is yiddische slang)

I reckon Trump has secretly agreed to indemnify losses of burnt teslas ( admission, made that one up)

Tesla is yesterdays news, Toyotas new offeringnis likley to make things a lot worse and Musk knows this.

Tesla is also yesterdays news for Musk, people with  his condition move on, to be honest I'm syurprised he is still there.  SpaceX and Mars are his key goals now.

As for cash, I strongly suspect Musk really doesnt care.  He has enough to do whatever he wants, doesnt live a lavish lifestyle and has very differnt priorities to most.

Surely you mean Trump's loyalty to Musk?

I don't see how it would be the other way around.

Seriously, what did we, what did anybody expect to happen..
in view of the new world order, DOGE and MAGA etc.. whoopee let's all go buy a Tesla that Mr Musk is one friendly happy-go-lucky sensible guy (unlike most new or used car salespersons) as we know the reality is very different - Musk the Madman!
