Nurse Disciplined By Nhs & Branded A ‘Danger To Public’....
....for calling 6ft convicted transgender paedophile ‘Mr’. Ms Melle claims the inmate, who lured boys into performing sex acts by posing online as a girl, lunged at her and called her "n*****" in May last year. An investigation accused her of "not respecting the patient's preferred identity" and concluded her actions could "be seen as a potential breach" of the NMC Code of Conduct.

If that's a potential breach of the NMC code I can only suggest that someone with an iota of common sense steps in to change the code - pronto! Allowing people - even disgusting child abusers - to choose gender and to demand respect of that choice is sheer madness. It makes fools of society. And where's the respect for Ms Melle? Non-existent it seems.

Her Christian beliefs no longer count for anything. In fact, they count against her. While every other religion, particularly Islam, is treated with great reverence, devout Christianity is disdained."" Correct.
Don't know - but it gets worse.
//NHS lawyers have argued that Melle's Christian belief that humans are born male or female is "not worthy of respect in a democratic society."//
That in itself is a disgrace. Not only an I willing to bet it would apply to only one religion but I doubt very much they they would chance this nonsense being put to democratic vote.
Dragging religion into this undermines the fundamental argument.
Why should anyone be forced to deny the evidence of their own eyes and penalised when they don't?
Just because this convicted sex-offender has decided to claim to be female doesn't mean that the rest of us have to play along.
If, as Barry suggests, there were real clinical reasons for Ms Melle to describe this man as a man then the NHS should hang its' head in shame for treating her so shabbily.
I wonder what would have happened if she had simply said that she would not call him by his chosen pronouns because he was a man?
Probably the same thing, which is why the religious aspect is neither here nor there.
It shouldn't really matter on what grounds she declined to lie, no-one should be forced to.
No one is obliged to lie by giving undeserved "respect" to someone's fantasy. Respect is something that's lost & earned. But that is the least of what is wrong here.
Not pandering to lunacy is no justification for lunging at someone. Whoever was controlling the investigation must certainly have been handed their cards by now,
Patient x is this man. He is only anonymous in the enaichess fantasy island bubble.
