Mitten Crabs
I see that the fascist right-wing media are now picking on another group of immigrants to our fair isles-Mitten Crabs!!.Apparently the said crustaceans, through no fault of their own and simply because they are looking for a better way of life, are colonising large areas of our green and pleasant land to the detriment of our indigenous species.
According to the Daily Mail and the Sun !!!!!!!-they should be stopped at all costs(preferably caught in a pincer movement)
In my view this is blatant Mittenophobia, not to say Crabism!!!! I say Let them stay-they will certainly enrich our crabculture.
Who do the native crabs think they are anyway?

And what do they give in return, eh? With their furry claws an' that - it's just not right. send 'em home I say.
lol. Not such a witty answer from me I'm afraid (it's late and I've had dinner with the parents) but we have the same with parakeets. We have these beautiful green parakeets in our gardens (south east) who have multiplied in numbers since escaping from captivity.
They are fab to see, I currently have about 10 at the bottom of my garden, but no, although they were born here, their heritage doesn't belong here and they're forcing out the indigenous species.... solution?... we're going to kill them. (ok, cull them).
Spooky how life imitates art isn't it......
