I would hope that all those who protested at the BBC for airing the Jerry Springer Opera because they believed it was blasphemous, would condemn the publication of these pictures in this country, as there publication would serve no purpose other than inflame religious tensions. Muslims are entitled to their faith, and these cartoons of Mohammed cause great offence to many people.
How strange. It is fair to say that I am slightly more right wing than Hitler but I don't think I could ever vote BNP. Yes I admit I do agree with a vast majority of their views but some are just incomprehensible. And that Nick Griffin guy is Welsh.
I think I will stick with the Tories in the wild hope that Baroness Thatcher will return.
These are typical responses from people who believe everything they read in the papers and hear on the radio.
I am not interested in religion. I don't see what religion has go to do with anything. Nobody has to be religious. It's a choice. If you want to be religious, that's up to you. But don't start pontificating and moaning that people don't respect your religion. You made the choice about religion against the culture and background of the country you live in. I resent the fact that people who came from another country, with that countrys' religion, should be able to march in the capital of THIS country advocating violence to anyone who made jibes, insults or bad comments about their religion.
Why should immigrants be allowed into this country, then start dictating that they don't get a voice or are being treated like second class citizens?
Would you go into someones house and tell them to change everything because you didn't like it?
If you don't like the way we do things in this country, you know how to get out. The BNP will be very helpful to you in this respect.
Tamza, the vast majority of Immigrants who come to this country are law abiding individuals, who have the right to practice whatever religion they want to. I don't hear them dictating anything, they may ask for the same rights as those a lot of us take for granted, and we all have the right to protest peacefully.
With regard to religion, this country is a christian country and a lot of our history is religiously based. Its only now that we are a "free" country that we have the right to choose our own religion.
Ward-Minter - yes, the word "islamophobic" has existed for many years.
Mr Tamzarian -
I am not interested in religion.
Nor me. I am an atheist and a secularist.
I don't see what religion has go to do with anything.
It is part of some people's culture.
I resent the fact that people who came from another country, with that countrys' religion, should be able to march in the capital of THIS country advocating violence to anyone who made jibes, insults or bad comments about their religion.
They are not "allowed to". The placards the other week which called for violence and murder were illegal.
Why should immigrants be allowed into this country,
For the benefit to the economy - filling labour shortages, skills shortages, and cheaply.
then start dictating that they don't get a voice or are being treated like second class citizens?
If they are being ill-treated or exploited, then of course they have the right to complain.
Would you go into someone's house and tell them to change everything because you didn't like it?
No.
If you don't like the way we do things in this country, you know how to get out. The BNP will be very helpful to you in this respect.
I notice you haven't answered my question.
Mr Tamzarian, are you aware that your argument holds some credence, some of your, and the BNP's, points are valid and some warrant further debate and discussion ....... until you use the word faggot.
And therein lies the problem. It's not the politics of the BNP that make them so heinous, it's the bigotry, xenophobia and hatred of its members.
