When i look at how much it would cost me to see my consultant privately, or actually pay the price of medicines that i use in a year I realoze i am doing very well outta this lark
Council tax is supposed to be used, like all taxes, for the benefit of the tax payers. Unfortunately the council officials use a big portion for their personal benefits and as their personal needs increase they want the taxes to increase. Let the council show that they are properly accountable for the tax they already receive. Cut out the pleasure trips under the guise of 'official business'!
Well my rubbish is only picked up half the time and therefor we have cats spreading our rotten food etc... all over the garden on a regular basis - I ring and complain and they come. hehehehe I live on a main road next to a pub, how can they miss me?
So in answer to the question NO I don't believe I get my moneys worth and for the amount I pay every month it does annoy me.
