well,it doesnt matter now..he will be another one of those public killings ..the Americans are fond of such things..remember the death of the oklahoma bomber ,you couldnt get front row seats b'cos of the demand and he was only responsible for afew hundred deaths..
Well the other day I saw on TV bodies of children killed by our bombs(paid by our tax money)in Iraq.
My question at this point is ,If i am a tax payer ,do I get a share of the killings. Will I be held responsible If perchance ,I travel to the middle east and get kidnapped.Even though I voted against this Govnmt, what can I do to wash away the guilt.
Sorry, its just a few sleepless nights and a couple of drinks compounded my guilt recently.
Please advice
The prosecutiion has rested its case for the death penalty and the defense is about to start its argument for life in prison. Defense lawyers say the jury should spare Moussaoui's life because of his limited role in the attacks, and evidence that he is mentally ill, and because his execution would only play into his dream of martyrdom. The defense lawyers have tried to discredit their client's credibility, and have said Moussaoui is exaggerating his role in Sept. 11 to inflate his role in history. That's probably true, but he's going to get the axe anyway.
There are no public executions anywhere in the US. In most states there are only a few witnesses allowed in the room, some from the victims' side, some from the murderer's side, and some reporters and prison officials. No photos are allowed. There are often vigils outside the prison, some people waiting to cheer, some protesting the death penalty.
