Prince Harry - becoming an officer!

I thought the pic of him in The Sun today smiling as his Nana (the queen) came down the line to speak to the officers was just sooooo sweet!!!!

I agree with Bernardo, the monarchy gives this country enormous international prestige and HM in particular has remained a constant in an otherwise fast and changing world. This may mean little to some, but to the greater majority that is a graet comfort and source of national pride. The queen lives modestly for a woman of her class and wealth and has devoted her entire life to the service of this country and has been an exemplary monarch.

What price can you put on that?

jump79, Andrew did his stint durring the Falklands so I guess if Harry is called to Iraq he will go ........ I think it would be the attention drawn to him by the gutter press that would prevent such a posting but time will tell I guess.

Thanks PhilBy for that, it was not a loaded Q as some people took it to be...I suppose Harry would be more than willing to go do something like that, voluntarily or on orders, but as you said, time will tell.
