Man arrested after chasing away yobs with a sword..
Stone throwing yobs pelt a man's house and him. They taunt him for weeks and when he chases them away with a sword, guess who the Police arrest? How long do you think it will be before the public say "enough is enough" and start to clear the scum off the streets themselves? What are the police thinking? I used to back the police 100% now I have just lost all confidence in them they are so infiltrated by hand wrininging lefties, they seem only to prefer the soft option. Any coppers here care to explain?

Treat them swiftly and harshly. The police are spineless guttersnipes who are interested in either going for the easy 'nick', in this case the real victim, or collecting revenue for Mr Brown from the motorist.
Makes me sick to read stories like this.

Anyway, I was just saying to the good wife on Sunday I've no respect for the police anymore. I used to hold them in high esteem and as a kid knew they'd drag me home to my parents if I put a step out of line.... It's not their fault though that their 'powers' have been eroded away. It's probably been successive knee jerk reactions that have got them in this state.
I'm seriously concerned about the crime increases in this country. There used to be a time when neighbourhoods rallied together and ousted petty criminals and yobs. But we all seem to live in fear these days because if you stand up to them you're likely to be in the wrong.
I can't say that I blame the police. They've practically been turned into pen-pushers and so much power has been taken away from them already, a bit like our schoolteachers. It's disgusting.
"There used to be a time when neighbourhoods rallied together and ousted petty criminals and yobs."
Eh??? When did that ever happen? The only occasions when I recall neighbourhoods rallying together for a common cause was in the 1970s when the NF used to gather together to dawb racist graffitti on Mr Khan's shop front.
Oh, and the dimwits in Gloucestershire who chased a paedeatrician out of his house because they were too dumb to realise there was a difference between peadeatrician and paedophile.
You put power in people's hands and you play to the lowest common denomenator.
Ok sp what should he have done? Called the police? I really think you should try to learn empathy? He's plagued for weeks by the subhuman slime that control our streets when finally he cracks he's a "psycho". Just once I'd love to see someone like you handle this situation. What are you going to do eh, take out some tea for them.
Come on I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd love to hear what you would have done.
SP1814, thats exactly why the police need to act responsibly and deal with the real criminals.
If you dont then the public atke the law into their own hands with disatrous consequences.
I think this just shows that the fellow was at his wits end not mad.
The police need to weed out the liberal 'elite' thats amongst them. Failure to do so will lead to anarchy and a powerfull BNP. Any lefties want that because thats what you liberal thinking and actions are causing.
BE WARNED.
My good mate is a copper and believe me - I get incensed when people slag them off. I could not, in a million years, do what he does...witness the things that he does and cope the way that he does with his job.
Look - let's say that the police deal with a million crimes a month...and out of that million crimes, 28 of them get reported in the papers as extreme versions of 'bad decision making'. Why on earth do we focus on those?
Why have we become a nation devoted to concentrating on the extremes of behaviour?
I totally, totally support our police and thank God we have them - who are you gonna call if you're mugged/burgled etc?
This is exactly the sort of thing that ASBOs are meant to be for:
Examples of anti-social behaviour that can be tackled by ASBOs and ABCs includes:
Harassment of residents or passers-by
Verbal abuse
Criminal damage
Vandalism
Noise nuisance
Writing graffiti
Engaging in threatening behaviour in large groups
Racial abuse
Smoking or drinking alcohol while under age
Substance misuse
Joyriding
Begging
Prostitution
Kerb-crawling
Throwing missiles
Assault
Vehicle crime.
It's distressing behaviour but it's not an excuse to loose it and storm out of your house brandishing a sword.
He's lucky not to have been shot in the head by an armed response team

Whoah - don't get me wrong...if it were me I would've done exactly the same.
"Hypocrite" you may shout - nope...I'm not. I totally empathise with the guy. I was burgled three times in my old flat, and twice in my mum's house with I was a teenager.
By the time of the last burglary, I used to sleep with a kitchen knife under my bed, praying to be broken into so I could kill whoever tried to trespass my property.
...and that's why I have no sympathy for the man...because he may well have killed that kid. I know it sounds weird...but unless you've been there, you have no idea how badly rage will affect your mind. I wouldn've happily killed someone tried to turn me over by the end...and that's not acceptable. Killing for a video recorder is simply not acceptable. Nor is threatening someone with a sword for being yobbo pests.
Thanks Jake, why haven't they been asbo'd then, It's hardly a first offence. Even if they are asbo's it's becomes a badge of honour, it doesn't actually inhibit them.
sp: why then do they make a rod for their own backs by not using common sense. Warn off the old boy and arrest the scum, simple!
sp: so are you going to tell us what he should have done? Call the police and wait for a "window" in their schedule?
