If he tried that to me he might get my D-lock through his rear window.
roflmao. serves them right. hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
So what have you got against cyclists loopy and doglady?
We need more cycle lanes
Nothing against cyclists at all DavidUK. It's just a funny picture in my head. I was laughing at the comedic value of pushing cyclists over from a van, not actually at them maybe hurting themselves.

I agree, we need more cycle paths.

Sorry!

as doglady says i have nothing against cyclists at all i cyce myself just thought the image of it was funny sorry if ive offended anyone.
Yet *another* good reason for cycling (carefully) on the pavement.

or cycling carefully on the road. If all cyclists did that, people in cars wouldn't get ****** off with them and want to push them off their bikes!
I don't know where he lives, but its probably Nigel Havers, he hates cyclists with a vengence.
Depends how you define 'carefully' whiffey. As carefully as a 12 year old on his first bike, or as carefully as an 80 year old on his last one?

On my drive home from work tonight I nearly took out a cyclist as he turned across the middle of a mini-roundabout with no hamd-signals and no dayglo clothing. Later as I walked to the supermarket I was nearly taken out by two cyclists on the pavement who were not paying attention. Is it just me? Apologies to all the law-abiding cyclists out there.
I cycle to work which is a 6 mile round trip. I'm also a motorist and can see where alot of the frustration comes from regarding dangerous cycling.

However I do think it slightly ironic that a van driver, from possibly one of the most discourteous and ignorant sections of motoring sets himself up as the nemesis of other road users.
that bloke sounds like a legend!!!!!! he should get a lottery grant
It is irritating getting stuck behind a cyclist but look at this way: if everybody else used bikes instead of cars, you would have more room to drive your car on the road and there would be less polution. So - encourage 'em not knock 'em over!
Cycling on pavements is NOT ALLOWED, and puts pedestrians at risk, check out the highway code.
I am afraid todays cyclist, like todays " scurge of the road" motorcyclists, think that they are so small and narrow they can ride anywhere, at any speed, legal or not !!
