That's right a question not about the war what ever happened to that car container that sank in the ocean?? DId they ever get the BMW's back that sank with it or is it still there?? - if it is im going to get a wet suit and go get me a new BM - Thanks!

The English channel to be precise (not a sea or ocean) yes it's still there - salvaging ships is pretty slow work, and could take months to complete. You'll need a bit more than a wet suit.....

I believe they've given up on the idea of re-floating her & are planning to cut her up insitu with what is basically a big cheese wire.

The tricolor is indeed still there.....she's been hit for six more times than an english bowler....and cliffy is correct the latest news is that after the damage sustained by the last ship to hit her they have decided to cut her up and recover her piece by piece...as for the salvage rights to the cargo i'm afraid your too late they have been asigned to a company already so you can leave the wet suit unless you fancy being nicked for piracy...aahhhaarrgghh!
