Only People I Have Seen Complaining On The News Are Muslims From The Area's Of Those Arrested Saying They Are Law Abiding Peaceful Lads Who Would'nt Hurt A Fly,

I see loads on the tv moaning about the delays and putting their stuff into plastic bags ,i spose the tv doesnt show it all the time.

Isn't it strange that Blair managed to fly away to the Caribbean, before all this blew up.

And while on the subject of our beloved leader, he did not have the decency to offer his condolences to the family of the soldier who had recently been killed in Afghanistan before the start of his latest news conference.

I have not heard of any complaints or seen any on the news. I have heard of people state that its a bit of a pain but they rather be delayed and be safe so I don't know where you got that news from.

anotheroldgit - one of the online papers (I think it was either the express or mail) that I read today more or less said the same thing but went on to state that Blair had asked his ministers whether or not it was felt he should cancel his holiday and return.

I am no Thatcherite but I have to think that if she was still at No 10 there would be no questions like that ever asked - she would have been straight back and probably dishing out cold drinks to weary queues at airports.
Blair knew about this in advance and had enough time to talk to Shrub about it before he flew off to the sunshine - he knows the majority of us want him to go and he won't because he has at least another dozen free holidays up for grabs........he cares nothing for the British that he is supposed to represent and it is not the first time that he has conveniently been on holiday and remained on holiday when something catastophic has happened.

Tory all my life and just once voted for a new face and was happy that Blair was elected. I have spent the rest of the past years regretting putting that magical X against his name. Give the guy a break eh? it must be so tiring being the American pet and he deserves another free holiday - its the only thing he excells at.
