Yes, later this summer. The relauch has been delayed for months while bullet-proof linings are fitted to the fuel tanks. This time spent on the ground is costing British Airways more than �100 million.

The television news reported the other day that once the modifications to the tyres and fuel tanks had been carried out, an airworthiness would then be sought from the relevant authorities. Autumn was reported as the time it would once again be in service.
