Isn't it about time our service personnel operating overseas in the likes of Iraq and Afghanistan be exempt from income tax?

They are not particularly well paid as it is, so shouldn't we help them out?

I'd happilly have a penny or two on my income tax to pay for it.

I'm not sure if, when you have all manner of bullets, grenades, artillery shells, explosives and suicide bombers flung at you, tax ever becomes an issue.

Call me a coward, but I'd be praying for a P45.
