Why the hell are people glad that he's home?

I'm from liverpool myself and I'm sick to death of seeing 'free michael sheilds' everywhere!

The man is a football hooligan...what kind of example does it set when he's been sent home for a crime he WAS involved in!

This is not a mascarriage of justice, He was rioting and fighting!

He was sentenced for murder & as someone else has confessed surely he shouldn't be locked up for 15 years. Sounds like a miscarriage of justice to me

Its not as simple as that BimBim. The details given by the guy who confessed do not match at all what happened to the bulgarian chap,and his confession has since been retracted anyway.

Just one question wnjxc21, were you there? If you weren't then you cannot say that he WAS involved because you don't know.

Bulgaria wants rid of this mess before they join the EU in January.
Graham Sankey the bloke who confessed is a very unreliable witness. He made a very detailed statement.
