How did the poisoner get the polonium into the sushi without the chefs/waiters knowledge?

Because he was eating at the Millenium Cafe in Bordon, where the chef and waiting staff are all one person and don't ahve any knowledge about anything. The Mellenium Cafe owner thought he was adding a secret ingredient for great taste but instead ended up killing the poor soul.

I don't think we was poisoned in the restaurant as suggested. Levels of Polonium were very low compared with the Hotel he wne to.

The poisoner had the guts and ability to get it onto a BA flight avoiding customs and security.

He/She has evaded all possible CCTV

He/She has left no trace of being in the country

I don't think sushi chefs/waiters would prove that much of a challenge to them.

It's just the same as asking how rapists spike drinks without anyone seeing

Customs and Security dont come in the picture at all. Customs dont look for radioactivity on arriving passengers. So he had to do nothing. Just put a small plastic container in his bag the size of a 50 p coin. The plastic would have prevented any radiation from passing out as even paper can block alpha particles. So even if there was a customs officer with a hand held gizmo (that does not exist) looking for alpha particles he would not have found it.

The sushi bar is a red herring. The spy consumed the poison elsewhere.
