So , French police have all of a sudden carried out a test on the blood of the chauffeur again , which now ' proves' he was drunk .

Surely a blood test to ascetain if someone is drunk or not isn't a difficult thing to do - wasn' t this ascertained at the time of the accident ?

It's all a bit strange, given the current investigation that is in progress - isn't it ?

If I understand the report correctly, there were blood tests carried out at the time of the Post Mortem which indicated the blood was well over the normal levels, ie he was drunk.

Allegations since then have suggested that the blood was swapped in an effort by conspiracists to cover there tracks... in other words, the original test on the blood was falsified.

This recent test, performed within the last year, is a DNA test on the blood sample that was used, which shows that the blood is in fact that of the driver..... not a simple blood alcohol test.

As to why this wasnt done at the time.. who knows? Maybe given the state of DNA testing at the time, or the amount of blood sample available or whatever, they weren't able to perform the test.

im sorry if this reply will upset a few people but honestly i dont believe a word of it, i still believe that diana was murdered and i dont believe for one second that our royal family didnt know something about it.

Bubblegum: Why do you tink she was murdered? Young people die every day in car crashed why should it be any different for a royal or former royal? and who and why would people want her dead? But if it wasn't an accident has anyone every conciders taht her boyfriend may have been the intended target. Maybe he had enemies somewhere

The Express newspaper group(whose owner made his millions from pornography)realises that there is a residue of sympathy for her and therefore seeks to keep the doubts surrounding her death in peoples minds simply to increase circulation .This is a newspaper that in it's tv ad claims to uphold traditional values.Do me a favour.!!!!!!
