Now that the dust has settled and no WMD found. Also the USA admitted recently what amounts to an illegal invasion of Iraq.
If only we had acted on his advice over 100,000 lives would have been saved, no threat of civil war, no London bombings, Al qieda with few sympathisers...if only!
But if by amazing chance Im not on the short list....
Darren Clark....for helping Europe win the Ryder cup just weeks after his wifes death from cancer. He played brilliantly as an indiividual, not just anonomous part of the team.
There is no way I could have gone out in public after the death of my wife, let alone do what he did so successfully.
Well, I just found out that the Person of the Year is: "YOU"
The magazine will have a picture of a computer, and the screen will be like a mirror. It's to honor all of us that contribute to the Internet, with pictures, films, and forums. So, let's hear it for the common person!
ha... when I read this thread before looking at the answers I placed a bet in my mind as to who would have nominated themselves. I came up with 2 names and one of them was Zorro. Very brilliant predictable work lol
I completely disagree with Zorro, Darren Clarke should not have moved on so publicly or quickly after the death of this wife. 4 months is too soon. I'm glad he didn't win sports person of the year now. What about his poor kids? They probably have just got their heads around the fact their mum died and now he's flaunting her former friend around declaring his love for her. It's insensitive and too quick.
ummm... I dont know this story but I disagree. I have a friend whose husband died of cancer and within months she was living with his best friend. They are and have been married for 10 years. They both talk really fondly of Mike and it has drawn them together in a really unusual way. Its not like a convential relationship, there is something different about them but I dont think this is an unusual scenario at all.
