No best answer has yet been selected by Lyndsey. Once a best answer has been selected, it will be shown here.
For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Absolutely, Gilf! Perhaps it's the word 'really' in Lyndsey's question that rather gives the game away. He/she might as well have written: "Blair obviously can't expect to be taken seriously any more, can he?" Any answer that basically said: "Of course he can't" would then have been 'correct' in the questioner's opinion.
But the question actually was: "Does Blair really expect..." To this, the only truly correct answer is: "Yes, he does"...to which might be added: "and many people agree that he should." This is the exact opposite of what Lyndsey clearly hopes to hear! Hence my earlier whinge. Cheers
As to your assessment of my ratings they cannot be more far from the truth, i base my ratings on the way the are presented, i find gilf easy to undersatnd i.e. his answer
seems to be more logical than "quizmonster" but i have given you a three star rating as i see your argument so if i have offended you please accept my apologys.
Certainly no offence has been taken and thus no apology is necessary. Clearly, I'd question your point about logicality, but that - as you say - is a matter of opinion, so what the hey! It just seemed to me that you'd asked rather a 'loaded' question and I felt the need to provide an answer that wasn't, as it were, a form of 'self-fulfilling prophecy'.
