Sky Three, Sky News and Sky Sports News are to go from the FreeView Service. They are to be replaced by 4 paid for subscription 'Best of Sky' channels.
Out of those I only watch Sky 3, and then only for the late night Football Years - or Road Wars narrated by Lee 'total muppet' Boardman. Apart from that I wouldn't even notice they'd gone.
We have freeview at work, sky sports news is ok but only for 5 minutes, notrhing worse than someone hogging the remote and hearing the same stories over and over again
I would probably miss Sky news although BBC news 24 will still be available (I hope). If Sky are to remove channels from Freeview I hope they take with them all the scrambled subscription based services. It does my head in having to flick through channel after channel which I cannot receive or do not want. Same applies to the satelite broadcasts.
Dumbkoff: no such luxury as favourites on my free to view box. The trend to increase these pay per view channels will probably upset others as well unless they include favourites as standard.
