Nope... entirely his business and about as uninteresting as it's possible to be.

Unless he starts supporting a policy of sending dope smokers to prison, that is.
I couldn't care less. Like what he did when he was a kid matters now.

In fact if that's the only skeleton in his closet then the Tories should rejoice.
Now lets see:

Cameron smoked some cannibis when he was a young kid.

Blair sends us into an illegal war in which many British soldiers die and thousands of Iraqies are killed.

Now I wonder which one I am more worried about !
It makes me like him more.
well, it was illegal. But of course lads at Eton shouldn't have to worry about little things like obeying laws, their destiny is to make laws.
ditto admarlow
Not bothered. But then neither is Cameron.

Things changed when William Hague became leader and was ridiculed for being a sad little freak who spent his teenage years reading Hansard and speaking at Conservative Party conferences instead of, y'know, having an actual life.

He quickly started telling everyone about how he'd often drink 8 pints of beer a day during his summer job....

Cameron will be quietly pleased that this cannabis story is out. It makes him look more like a normal person.
he has not booasted about it unlike the 13 pinter who lost all cerdibility because of his boast.

600,000 deaths or a few spiffs as a teenager. i know what would weigh heavily on my conscience
Even if he does toughen up the laws on drugs (if he's elected of course), the hypocrisy cannot be compared in the slightest with Blair and his CND days.
Just the press having a slow news day again. This one backfired on them though! Common sense prevails on this one.
do bear in mind, Dom Tuk, that Cameron hasn't actually had the opportunity to get many deaths on his conscience yet. That's a consequence of power, not of powerlessness. As for hypocrisy, I still get a giggle out of ecofanatic Cameron going to work on his bike to save the planet while his limo follows behind with his briefcase.
I couldnt care less but I just wish he would say he did it instead of skirting around the issue, then maybe the press would finally let this none story rest.
I wonder why it even makes the news? The people of this country have far more serious things to concern themselves with.
Yes, it would be a shame if the actions of a 15 year old child were to affect him about 25 - 30 years (?) later. But how many people remember when Charles Clarke was asked the same thing? He said he had smoked cannabis once, but he had never smoked a cigarette. Case closed.

I bet it's not the only queer little fag he had at Eton...
i think most of you are missing the point.
He comes across as being very shifty over this matter, by not actually admitting the fact, and apologising for his earlier weakness.
He is most likely to be the next Conservative Prime Minister do we want another Blair, that isn't prepared to come clean, even over such a trivial matter as this?
he;s entitled to some privacy.

and i have to agree with admarlow here, i do like him more now!

it's not as if everyone doesn't do it
