i was speaking with a mate of mine at work today,He was saying the americans are positioning warships in the sea. In order to attack iran,Is this true...?

I think (but am not sure) that they are positioned where they are for Iraq purposes, though as the two countries are next door, who knows... the Americans have been making a lot of noise about having nuclear weapons and about interfering in Iraq (both of which of course apply to themselves more than to Iran), but I keep telling myself Bush couldn't be stupid enough to attack yet another Muslim country... could he?

In addition, the Sunday Times today carries a story regarding the threat by a group of US generals to quit if Iran is attacked.

this is old news, check the date on the article http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?context =viewArticle&code=NAZ20061001&articleId=3361 these ships were deployed long ago and is it a coincidence that the new head of u.s. central command or ' centcom ' is admiral fallon a navel officer? that puts him in charge of the whole theatre. that's all well and good whickerman, but many general's, congressman and senators have quit fot these reasons before, doesn't seem to change anything. it takes years to plan this type of invasion as did afghanistan and iraq as well as lebanon. they are all part of one grand plan.

The same thing happened before the invasion of Afghanistan.

Before 9/11 there a huge build up of arms and troops in striking distance to afghanistan.

For the war in Afghanistan, huge transports of troops and material had to be organized well before the invasion. On November 7, 2000, the day all US-citizens were occupied with the election of their president, the UK announced its biggest military exercise since the Gulf War, operation Swift Sword (Saif Sareea in Arabic), involving 24,000 troops and a lot of heavy material.

The exercise took place in Oman, a strategic location, since all oil tankers from the Persian Gulf region (Saudi-Arabia, the United Arabic Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Iraq and Iran) have to cross the Gulf of Oman. Here the UK detaines a War Material Storage. They exercised on the coast of Oman from September 15 until the end of October 2001, and started moving their material in August 2001. The UK participated in the invasion.

From October 8 until the end of October, 2001 another military operation was planned in Egypt: NATO Operation Bright Star. It was the world's largest exercise with more than 11 Nations, and over 70,000 troops (among which 23,000 from the US) participating.

Among several other "coincidental" military moves towards Afghanistan, we notice that on July 23 2001 aircraft carrier Carl Vinson was sent out from Bremerton (on US West coast) to the Arabian Sea. It arrived just in time to launch the first air strikes on Afghanistan on October 7, 2001.

And since Mr.Bush has done such a fantastic job, in Iraq and Afghanistan, now he is going to unleash some of these bunker buster, which nobody talk about their after effects and its humanitarian and environmental devastations to Iran. It seems that even the media turn a blind eye to that. Has any body seen a program on TV to discus the after effect and may be showing the simulation of what will happened if one of these will be released in the Persian gulf area?
