Climate science is extremely complex - you simply cannot get a good grasp of the science by watching an hour's documentary or reading an article in the paper any more than you can do heart surgery that way!

I could make you a wonderful documentary showing why quantum mechanics is all rubbish and how the guys at CERN should all be locked in a padded cell and I'm sure that many would believe it.

Yet the tunnel diodes in your computers would continue to work.

Your best bet is to look at the opinion of reputable bodies - and there is a long and growing list backing the view of a significant human contribution.

Notably those taking a contrary view are mostly individuals or in a few cases have a significant vested interest.

Channel 4 has already had to make a long official appology for one of Mr Durkin's anti-environmental programs - looks like they may have to again!
You're right Jake, we should never question reputable bodies.

Therefore, I propose we head back to a time when the world was flat, sick people bled, and non-belief in Jesus a capital crime.
