Why do people think that harry is going to be allowed on the front line ?
Quite simply, Harry shouldn't go, the insurgents have said that if he goes, and is on the front line, they will target him, and if he's there, but given a backroom job, they will target his unit.
The best option is for him to stay here.
Why does it make any difference if Harry or someone else gets captured? Personally, if I had a son out there, I'd rather Harry got captured or killed and not my son. Sorry, but I don't see anything special about Harry - is he somehow better than everyone else?

bazile of course harry is going to see action in iraq he has said he wants to go onto the frontline
Just because he wants to go onto the front line (as we are lead to believe) does not mean he will. They say they are going to continue to review the situation, so don't hold your breath.
If they execute these 3 unfortunate US soldiers, then 6 of these low-life should be put up against the wall and shot. The time has come to start playing rough with this rabble, and i don't just mean in Iraq, perhaps we should start much nearer to home.
aog, 100%, well said.

cascarelli, i'm afraid it does make a difference, your right, he's no better than any of the others, but he is high profile, which will make him a danger to anyone around him.
The more likely scenario is they'll capture a ginger lookalike wearing a "I'm Harry" t-shirt....as far as I know, the army has taken proper precautions to prevent any harm coming to Harry by recruiting hundreds of lookalikes aka Harry's army
stokeace - I dont know if you are a betting man/woman - but if you are tempted to have a bet at the bookies that Harry will see front line action, I wouldn't suggest betting a lot of money ,as you will lose your shirt .

What Harry wants ( allegedly ) and what he is allowed to do , are two different things .
As aog says , they are going to monitor the situation - that is code for - Front line action ? - not on your nelly .

cascarelli - Lonnie is correct in what he says .
The only difference between him and anyone else , is that he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth - he certainly is not better than other folk .

IMO he should stay at home , and out of the way , doing something 'useful' , like polishing the family silver .

personally i admire the bloke for wanting to go and fight in iraq its a lot better than some of the jobless layabouts who hang around on street corners mugging people and robbing houses to fund their drug addiction.it would be so easy for him to stay at home and polish the family silver as you say bazile but he isnt is he?
Hi stokeace,
I agree with you, good on him for wanting to go, I just don't think he should, for the reasons i've given.
Cant we send all the Royal Family over there, they dont do anything usefull in this Country, and if they do get killed......Bonus 80)

hi lonnie i DO agree withg you actually his very presence will 100% attract the insurgents you will see an increase in ieds im afraid with them just hoping for a lucky strike so you can expect more roadside bombs once he is actually deployed.yes big ted price edward ought to get his sorry a** out there lol
They've changed their minds; he's not going.
great more time in the nightclubs then.
Surprise surprise.
I'm absolutely gobsmacked!!! I thought he might have gone and taken the rest of his parasitic family with him!
