Channel 4 are having to apologise about 'racism' on Big Brother. This country has gone barking mad. I really believe we (who is we?) will not be happy until we have an entirely Black, muslim, gay, government and have legislated anything vaguely White out of existence.

So what is racism ? It is reported tonight that there is a rising incidence of 'racism' in Britain, especially in the North. What it indicates is that white and black and purple people sometimes do not like each other. It's very simple - but why ? Aren't we all the same underneath our skin ?

Again, the truth is that we are not. Racism - which I redefine as a dislike of one culture for another - is never never going to go away, unless we get an Islamic state (I give it 50 years) when it will then be ok to behead all infidels and execute all gays, oh and what a wonderful world it will be.

I am an aim????? Thank you if that is a compliment.
I'd love to know where Dizzee Rascal fits into your theory.

He's speaks like a 'chav', he wears baggy low-slung jeans, he's from Bow in the East End of London. And reviews for his new album suggest that it's borderline genius - he's one of the most intelligent and creative people in the UK music industry.

But he doesn't dress, speak or live like Dr Huxtable for the Cosby Show does he?

Must be thick as a plank then.

maxximus, are you seriously suggesting that mad mullah wotsisname of Iran wants to cultivate and encourage Judaism and Israel, and not really lob a nuclear bomb on Tel Aviv as soon as he gets one unless the USA sorts him out fairly soon ?
Dizzee Rascal a genius?? I think you find that review was written by a politically correct journalist more than likely paid by the music industry.

The man can not even speak. He is of the foulest calibre and has a huge criminal element in his own life and that of his family.

Creative???? not wishing to dismiss this jungle music, but it is hardly ELO is it?

A cultural gap was highlighted for me yesterday. My neighbours are Jamaican, lovely lovely people. The youngest is strikingly pretty and a Seventh Day Adventist and does all her washing by hand in a tub in the garden.

Yesterday I was gardening to the sound of Cosi Fan Tutte, while next door was playing rap or something equally odious. I can't help it, I flaming hate that sort of music. I adore the cooking smells they come up with, but not the music.

When I finally finished setting out the bedding nearest the house I noticed 2 syringes on the ground just on my side of the fence. I am trying to persuade myself that they were brought there by a fox, or a magpie, or a parakeet.
Surely you know that all black people are smackheads?
I would guess foxes. I'm not into opera myself, but turning to hard drugs is not the answer. In future you should wear an iPod while gardening, otherwise the RSPCA will get you ASBOed.

It wasn't opera, it was Mozart.

I did Cosi, Don Giovanni, and the jewel in the crown - The Marriage of Figaro - all in one day. Then I had curried herrings directly from the tin and far too much Budweiser.
From that vivid discription, it is not hard to see why the indigenous wildlife in your garden have resorted to taking hard drugs. I hope it was the Czech Budvar and not the digusting stuff brewed over here.
yes whiffey that's exactly what i'm saying, although i'm not suggesting he wants to cultivate judaism ahmadinejad is the president of iran and the one the western media keeps focusing on as he does not have the final say on iranian foreign policy. that is his superiors job the supreme leader ayatollah khamenie so when he says iran supports the arab league position on israel-palestine that proposes normal relations with israel if it accepts the international consensus of the two state settlement, which has been blocked by the u.s. and israel for the past thirty years. strangly it doesn't get reported in the mainstream news. instead we are told bush and blair don't talk to terrorists and the c.i.a. is in there trying to undermine their government as we speak. scaring us with reports of young moslem terrorists at our back doors just waiting for us to let our guard down, cultivating an atmosphere of racism and hatred.
This is the most confusing thread I've ever read. There's about four subjects going on at the same time.

I'm loving it.

Joe_The_Lion - that 50% figure is completely off the mark. I know literally dozens of black men and women of average intelligence who are completely invisible, as are their white counterpoint, because, like me - they're quite dull.

The media is completely disinterested in someone who's average.

Only extremes make good news.
that always was the way with beheadings, whiffey. They had to have three goes at Mary Queen of Scots. Anne Boleyn had a French executioner flown in - with them you didn't lie on the block, just sat upright and they did it with a sword swooshed sideways rather than an axe coming down. That was why they invented the guillotine - it was meant to be a more humanitarian death all round.

Yes, it was the Milton Keynes million-gallon-vat Budweiser, which is actually far nicer then the imported rubbish, and Londis do 6 x 500ml for 6.

I think we should someday have an entire thread about executions about which I know grisly loads. As a child I built a guillotine at the bottom of the garden and tried to persuade Mary from across the road to try it out but being all wet and cissy she ran home crying so I had to use a dead fly instead.
could someone lend me size 9 needles , think ill knit a tammy during the proceedings ,
I can forgive the curried herrings and the dodgy opera but calling Budvar 'imported rubbish' shows clearly that you have little taste.

Question Author
Actually the best beer in the world is New Zealand Steinlager, or used to be anyway, but I don't have a recent opinion because Londis don't stock it. I know a distressing amount about beer. In my fridge I currently have a bottle of Fuller's Porter, 2 bottles of 5 Flags, 2 bottles of Chinese Harbin Lager (at 1-99 in Sainsbury's a bit pricey but so amazing), and lots of Bud Ice from Milton Keynes probably.

Joe_The_Lion may have the same name as a rather excellent Bowie track, but ELO?

For God's sake....
Must admit I had never heard of Harbin so I did a search...

Doesn't sound like I would like it:

"Faint yellow colored body. White head clings around the edges of the liquid. The stench of recently dead skunk greets my nose, making me fear the upcoming sip. Sweet, honey malt taste with lots of metallic overtones and a hint of skunk."

http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/harbin-premium-la ger/17334/

Owned by the same people who make American Bud. Enough said.
Question Author
Oh dear, I'm not doing too well on the beer front today, maybe I should have stayed with the much safer topic of executions.

All I can say is I like Harbin, maybe they got a duff batch from Sainsbury's. Now I bet if I'd mentioned Adnams Broadside or Young's Special you'd be angling for a portion of my special 'rubber' pork vindaloo to wash down.
Now you have done it, I'm going to have to have some Fish Pakora and wash it down with a pint of Erdinger, on my way home from work, ah, work, that's what I'm supposed to be doing...
