Was the wife of a British Prime Minister right to rebuff the World's press, when she made the following remark to them as she left Downing Street with the PM, on their way to Buckingham Palace.

' We will not miss you '

Or do you think it would have been better to keep her mouth shut, until she was just plain Mrs Blair.

All she said was, we won't miss you, in a pleasant enough voice, but you have turned it into some sort of Spanish Inquisition.

I got to work this morning and said Good Morning to my colleague Bertie, and was arrested, rightfully so, how damned rude of me.
Oh give it a rest Cherie.

All she said was, we won't miss you, in a pleasant enough voice, oh so that's ok then? Nothing is rude as long as you say it in a pleasant enough voice.

When you say ' goodnight Bertie, but I won't miss you ' (in your pleasant voice) to your colleague, I bet he won't say good morning to you the next morning.

You state that you was arrested for being rude to Bertie, I somehow think that this is not quite true, I am now fully convinced that whiffy is in fact one of the lying Blairs.

Think Cherie was being a bit flippant. Don't think there was anything else in it. Why take it all so seriously?? After all, its goodbye from her and goodbye from him.
