We are not born in Britain but in our home country. I have only experienced Scots describing themselves as Scots and not Brits and if I indicated this was anything but welcome I apologise. I believe Scots are probably more patriotic than us English but thats a hornets nest for another day. A brave person is a brave person in any language and country John. I have recently returned from the 1st world war battlefields and cemeteries of France and Belgium and I respected every one of the British graves and names there.
Well I am not debating - I've answered the call for my explanation. Legend ; yep sometimes I agree with you and a debate at this time may well be unnecessary and stupid - do you mean time as in time of night (rare for you) or as in the current national situation? Either way I'm going. My dishwasher has packed up and I have to wash up after a late Sunday roast. Goodnight Brits everywhere!!! As someone who lived through WW2 I can confidently say that there is an innate reaction likely from BRITISH people to anything they see is going to be harmful to others. It helps them if there is another person to join in but this trait is to be acknowledged and appreciated. The British spirit usually shines through.
