I'm just trying to bring a little balance to the arguement.

Having been involved in many a thread with Arnold where he has most graphically described what he would like to do to said perverts I tend to think that he was not actually making a crude comment himself.

I would even go so far as to guess that his comment was actually ripping the mick out of us 'lefty liberals' rather than laughing at or making fun of what is sickening and tragic story.

Whether the comment is funny or not I can't comment on, humour is subjective.

i am sure this has been said before, but does noone ever seem to understand irony any more? Sometimes laughter and humour are the only way to deal with appalling things like this, get over your indignation at Wardy for once and stop and think that you can't change people, and that includes their ironic take on tragedy or comedy.
