OK but he has had not opposition, Cameron and the Tories are not fit for purpose. Her Majesty's Opposition - don't make me laugh. Labour have been left to do as they please for the past ten years. Cameron, Oh dear, he tries so hard to be like Blair and doesn't realise that Blair is history, yesterday's Man. It is Ironic that Brown is trying to put as much distance as possible between himself and Blair and Cameron is trying to be Tory Blair.
Despite Blair's christian credentials (I never could tell if any of that was genuine), I think Brown has a more ingrained (by his upbringing) moral compass. I live near Manchester, but was thoroughly impressed when Brown binned the SuperCasino quickly and without debate. A good leader needs to be authoritarian sometimes.
Will win the next election, but mainly because Cameron is clueless. Then again, will Cameron be Tory leader for much longer? Todays Daily Mail headline:
Cameron in turmoil as he faces 'summer of discontent'
