There would be no NHS if we did not have immigrant doctors, and thats a fact. Immigrant nurses have not taken all the jobs from newly qualified nurses, immigrant nurses are experienced and are taking on roles where experience is required. The lack of newly qualified posts (lets face it, a newly qualified nurse needs extensive mentorship and from my experience the real learning starts when you qualify. A nurse fresh out of university is far from fully developed) is down to government cuts. Where I live, there are loads of jobs for nurses with the magical 2 years experience, but very few for newly qualified. Yet the universities keep on churning out hundreds of them every year.

Agreed you can't repatriate everybody now but maybe they should go back to the Country of their or their families birth if they are convicted of major crimes. Then we can start emptying the overcrowded prisons. Once this is done we can help this situation further by re-introducing National Service for all the caucasian yobs and benefit fraudsters. How's that !!!!
