A couple of economic indicators out today are good news for the government. Is a snap election likely soon? Are the Tories ready? Is the Brown Bounce too high too early?

Anyway.... I'm back and normal service will be resumed....
If I was in charge of Labour now I'd call an election. The Tories and the Lib Dems have nothing to fight back with in my opinion. They may loose a few seats but that would pretty much be it as far as I can tell.
I am beautiful, no matter what they say

As a Tory it pains me to say that if Brown has got any sense at all he will call an election as soon as possible, particularly as he is still in his honeymoon period, becuase as it stands at the moment the Tories haven't got a blind hope in hell of winning - not a chance.
I'm still struggling to understand what, exactly, Cameron's policies are!

Gordy is the geezer. I've always believed Mr Brown as a 'conviction politician' rather than a 'presentational politician'.
When Tony Boy got into power, presentation is what he had to do to prove that New Labour had nothing to do with the old horrific Labour Party of the 70s and 80s.
He had to present this new image, but unfortunately, presentation is just one part of a political philosophy...Tony never ever gave the impression that he was a deep thinker...
Gordy is a deep thinker.
Also, he rarely smiles, which is a good thing...because when he does smile...he kinda looks like the Child Catcher from 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang'.
(Yes, I know it's not a nice thing to say, but you know it's true).
