an article in newspaper today states gerry mc,cann left an interview re the questions being asked. is the strain just too much now ? if it is maybe they should return home ?
Problem is that our police system and theirs is so different, but I find it strange they havent come up with a DNA answer yet. Surely it should be done by now!
I thought it had been reported that they were coming home?
Mr McCann 'stormed out' (according to reports) because the interviewer asked about the blood evidence found in the apartment and the family car..apparently the interviewer wasn't supposed to ask this type of question as they had been informed that they were not allowed to.
It seems to me that everytime the police say their scaling down their search, there is always a new sighting and then the search resumes... don't know what i'm saying, just something i've noticed!
I really wish they could just find out either way if she'r dead. It must be the worst sort of limbo to be in! Just really don't know what to think about it all...
A post a while ago said that people holidaying at the same time were hearing her call out for her parents most nights.... poor thing! not sure if that is true though!
Well considering that the parents admitted that the night Maddie disappeared wasn't the only time they had left her it may well be a true account from the witness, andrea.
Strangely enough reading that article was the only time I got really upset about this case ~ the thought of her crying out for her parents night after night broke my heart.
I just hope that they do get closure as I really don't feel hopeful about it at all. Just think if she was abducted, the fact that she is so recongnisable may have lead to he being killed. horrible to say, but they may have made it worse with all the media!
Either on drugs or just his way to deal with it. He may fall apart when they stop looking for her. But I do think they are toooooo calm! If my son was missing, i'd be in a padded cell climbing the walls!
weeal
I think the Portugese Police would have briefed the parents that whoever kidnapped Maddie would get sick pleasure out of watching their anguish, so when attending any press conference to keep their composure and not give whoever did it the satisfaction of seeing them "break down". Does that make sense?
Ye, my gut feeling is that she was abducted, but I just can't get my head around them. She seems to be vacent to me. I expect she's on calm me down pills! I think when they stop looking for her and they come home, maybe then we'll see the real emotion. It's all so surreal at the moment, don't have time to think of the reality!
Yes I can see what you mean and its a good idea if thats what theyre doing I just think it would be extremely difficult to keep that up. Grief is apparently the most difficult emotion to hide.
