RIP.
I've never really liked classical music, but I do always remember being in a trance watching him sing. Great voice and what seemed like a great person.

To hear, in person, Luciano Pavarotti sing the concluding notes of Nessun Dorma from Turandot with such apparent ease is something I could only dream of and still in his later years, held me transfixed on true greatness... and artistry. Thank you Mr. Pavarotti and viaggiare con amore, e buonanotte'...
It is so sad to hear of Pavarotti's death. He was loved by so many. I have to say, he wasn't my favorite tenor. But then my favorite tenor was my father, so no contest there. Pavarotti will be sadly missed and remembered as one of the greatest singers for a very long time to come. May he rest in peace.
