Read this story and then think about what your childish behaviour could lead to....this is not aimed at any one specific person by the way.

why do we need to be careful, not being funny but it does say he was dealing with bad depression he probably would of done it anyway, chat room or no chat room.
You can't blame the kids, he was obviously mad as a trumpet anyway and would probably only did it on line for his 15 mins of fame.
althought dont get me wrong it is sad and horrible for others if they see it.
I totally agree with confused79.
i mean, why havent i done anything yet and i get picked on all the time :)

I'm not saying you have to be careful, just that some people are more sensitive than others.Maybe he would have taken his life anyway but nobody can say for sure,I for one couldn't have sat and actively encouraged him to kill himself.
Well if your sensitive than others.

why go onto a web site that encourages users to insult each other.

He was clearly a depressed individual by the sounds of things
Perhaps Myriad2112 you should explain to us why you think:
"he was obviously mad as a trumpet anyway"

In this day and age calling someone "mad" is not very helpful or constructive.

As far as I can see he was depressed, which is one of the biggest illnesses in this country today, affecting millions of people.

Why did you call him that ?
Because as Laurence poins out, if you're depressed why go to a website made for people to insult each other, then ruin everyones day by hanging youself on line. If he was Sooooooo depressed why didn't he just throw himself off a cliff somewhere instead of making a great scene.
I agree with many here. Why put himself through that, why talk to people who are can be so cruel when he is already so sensitive. Poor guy though, I wonder what torment he must have been going through to do that to himself.
Although that's a wee bit harsh Myriad!

i feel really sorry for the fellow, and his family and rather sick, because people just watched.depression is a bad illness and can lead to many people taking there lifes,i hope this man is at peace and away from, the nasty people who mock him,you never know whats around the corner .
i am a qualified mental health nurse in most cases of extreme depression they do not want attention and nomally reclude this sort of action is so very rare behavior more commonly seen in other forms of mental health problem
yes it is very sad that he died but i feel he really did want 2 die but wanted 2 go out with a bang
old grape im sure as you have worked in mental health, you would understant the clients ,were all very different and somethings they done were because of there state of mind this man may not of been taking his medication, and this could of played a big part in his death people withmental health proberlems dont think they have a proberlem .
My guess is that he was going to do it anyway and he just wanted an audience.
