Poland blocked plans to hold European day against death penalty. The EU, capital punishment is outlawed, planned to mark the anti-death penalty day on 10 Oct http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/700153 8.stm
So will ABer's who want the death penalty and believe Britain is in decline due to immigrants/at risk due to Muslims, consider Poland as being the place to go to. It might be considered particularly attractive as I am led to believe currently it is empty of polish people as they are all over here .
Is Poland quite scenic? I should imagine the house prices are cheap but the employment opportunitys low. Maybe for when I retire. Do they have Lidls out there?
Booldawg, Poland is very beautiful, curently the job oportunities are very good, as they do not have many skilled workers. If you bought your house close to the Greman border, you could pop across to Lidl whenever you liked. Enjoy your retirement.
Allow me to mention I have near on 30 years before I think about retiring! I can really see this as being the trend in a few years time, now the EU has opened up the possibilites to move over borders more freely. The UK will be for people requiring work and then selling up. Taking all your money out the country to somewhere like Poland or Bulgaria where your equity will be your pension makes more sense.
Well what a swizz. No day to celebrate the outlawing of the death penalty
I hope those PC people haven't had their own way. They are such a small minority looney's all of them but suprisingly powerful and seemingly in charge.
