Anyone know if a game is forfitted if a team has to go to uncontested scrums due to lack of front row players?

Don't believe so, an uncontested scrum is just that. The ball remians with the team with the put in and play restarts. Sure a rugby ref will give youi chapter and verse shortly.

I know about scrums etc. What I'm saying is that in the league I play in, if you have to go uncontested due to lack of front row then the game is forfit. I wondered if the WC competion had a similar rule. The laws of the game are quite clear I was asking about the rules of the competition.
