The BBC has taken the childrens programme Postman Pat, off the air, in an effort to help resolve the postal dispute. A BBC spokesman has apologised to the children and their parents, promising to show extra episodes, when it returns to our screens. Were the BBC right to do this? Did they come under government pressure?
