Jonathan Toss is paid 6 million quid a year?
That makes my blood boil. My brother is a scientist for the NHS and studied for 6 years to get where he is. He earns 19,000.
I am a former English Teacher who worked at 11+ level. I was paid 17,000.
My Mum is an educational psychologist for the NHS. She is paid just over 30,000.
And this useless pile of sh!te is paid 6,000,000 for everyone to laugh at his lisp???????

its not so much the big name dj's they need to cut back on
take for example chris moyles' breakfast show
there are 4 producers, someone to read the news someone to read the sport and comedy dave, it costs over 1 million per year for this one show alone
i would cut down on the number of people working on each show

Ditch all radio output.
Transfer radio 3 and 4 to television, leaving the commercial stations to broadcast the rest of the trash.
Massive savings to be had, with the closure of all those local stations throughout the UK.
How can it justify having tv production studios all over the UK, when most of its output is now made by independent companies and on location shooting, again massive savings.
I'm not against these salaries, but they should not be at the expense of quality television.

Wogan is not about much now and is past his sell by date -so he can go, toupees and all. Ross is far too full of himself and hogs the limelight so he can go. Norton is a poof but blatently so (and not worth all that wage) so he can go as he is not funny at all and does not give guests a chance when on his show - Chris Evans can go (I hate ginger pubes) keep the rest and make them earn their wages via a renewable 6 monthly contract of employment.
