It looks as though Peter Tobin, now charged with the murder of the missing Vicky Hamilton, could turn out to be another serial killer of young women like Fred and Rosemary West. His name has now been linked with numerous other murdered & missing young women, including Barbara Mayo from 1970.

Barbara Mayo disappeared in late 1970 whilst hitching north on the M1. She was seen getting into a Morris 1000 Traveller & all owners of that type of vehicle were interviewed by the police at the time. We had one at the time but had sold it on to buy a new car by the time the police called to interview us. Fortunately we both had a watertight alibi. It will be interesting to see if Peter Tobin owned a Morris 1000 Traveller in 1970.

Although nothing compares to the anquish and heartache of the families involved, I would hate to be the occupants of any of his former homes!! Imagine knowing that your kids had been happily playing in the sand pit and some poor girls body was underneath it...hardly bears thinking about does it!

what an awful experience it must have been for u both.
that guy Tobin is so sick in the head - hopefully the new findings and evidence can tie him to the other missing kids. At least then it will give the relevant parents piece of mind that the killer is locked away for good (hopefully)where he belongs. I say bring back the death penalty.
