PC Brigade. I doubt most people of that persuasion (for want of a better ter) could be bothered to raise to the bait. As usual all it does is bring bad press to those being 'defended'. When will they learn?

Could of course be a big plot by the BNP. All you have to do is keep issuing thes rediculous statements and the public will turn on the very people you want to get at. I read that this song is actually about immigration (Irish settlers in the US) rather than a relationship between two people.

Anyone else read this?

It is partly about emigration to America. The two protagonists dream is escaping their squalid lives for a new life in the US.

However, the 'story' is about someone dying (in the drunk tank) and the other person s anger them dying and at their unfulfilled dreams.
