tufty - what makes you think that all people in Liverpool are on the dole? There are shops, banks, public transport (Merseyrail aswell as buses), taxis, restaurants, nightclubs, football clubs, insurance companies, newspaper offices etc etc etc in Liverpool, and guess what, people from Liverpool work in them.

But then I suppose you think that all people in the North still wear clogs, the women wear headscarves and it's all a bit grim. Grow up.

They can't prosecute the perpertrator until they find him and arrest him. Nobody's informed the Police because they're afraid of the repercussions and because (nationally) the Police are lazy, useless and invisible so would be wholly unable to protect them.
You are confusing the issues, London has a terrible problem with gun crime but tourists still visit. The reality is that anyone who comes for the C of C won't be going to Croxteth or Norris Green just like any tourist anywhere in the world you're going to visit the nice parts of town, of which there is many.
