Yes, and yes.
Not me, but I can honestly say after nearly 70 years together my Granny and Grandad were very much in love. When he died my Nan's world fell apart, she still loves him that much 3 years after he died. Her eyes literally sparkle when she talks about him.

I reckon I get the 7 year itch after 6 weeks.

Ice.Maiden, knoblessnobrain is unfortunately still alive, so please ignore 'it'.
Question Author
But I quite like Knobby - always been alright with me.
Doesn't give him the right to tell you to ignore another person on here though, does it?
My parents are gonna be celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary next month ( been together 28ish years ) and I think they are still happy, they certainly seem it!!

Still dont make me wanna get married tho.

And I haven't so far, have I Munks? But I did the other night.
That's brilliant indiechick and mistys. My own parents've been together for coming up to 30 years, and they're still happy.
My last relationship lasted a grand total of 55 days. We weren't sexually compatable, although we are now much closer as friends than we were before we were seeing eachother so that's a good thing.

Lol Screech - well from little acorns and all that!!! Who knows eh?

knoblessnobrains, you have no rights here, crawl under your rock and die please.

Stop it Munks! Look - I have no fall-out with anyone on here. The post wasn't about being snide or unpleasant. If you want an argument Munkeeluvva, you can always start a new thread, and I'm sure you'll get a lot of replies.
After 24 years......nope. He is with his research assistant and I am on my own...( and much happier )

Awww pasta, 24 year's is a long time to then suddenly "lose" someone - but if you're happier hun, then it can only be a good thing. I assume the research assistant has to keep on her toes, in case he finds a newer model! Just a thought to make you smile. x
Ice.Maiden, see my first post. I was happy to leave it at that, but no, I was once again insulted by knoblessnobrain. You expect me not to retort?

I'll never say anything on here that I wouldn't say to his face, so I see no problem with it. This is me, I'm not 247 other gomerils on here, like some people. Take it, leave it, up to you. But I will finish what that imbecil starts, simple as.

Thanks. M x
