Since when was Israel a civilised country? It was born out of terrorism and continues in the same way. The headline would be more accurate if it read "Israeli terrorists assassinate Lebanese terrorist"

Would someone like to define 'Civilised', the country is fighting for its very existance, using any means it can, and what about the behaviour of some of our troops in the Middle East, very civilised.

I'm not sure that Israel is very near to non-existence, Lonnie. I don't believe all the rockets from Gaza in the world, however much individual grief they may cause, threaten the state.

And in terms of individuals, the imbalance is pretty staggering. Thirteen Israelis died last year - and 373 Palestinians. That does not, in all honesty, sound to me like much of a threat; more like massive over-reaction. (That's just Palestinians killed by Israelis - almost as many were killed by other Palestinians.)

The person killed was not some brainwashed peasant but a terrorist mastermind with a $25 million price on his head.
He has been the target of several 'civilised' countries intelligence services.
I have yet to see the Mossad or Israel claiming responsibility for this action.

And i've said before, if the Palestinians really want peace, all thay have to do, is to take ;the destruction of Israel' out of their mandate, but they won't, will they?.
