What did you make of their on-stage spat? I realise The Osbournes were hired because they provide car crash telly, but Sharon's clash with Vic Reeves seemed genuine - don't you think?

lol yeah it did look genuine and i squirmed in embarrassment, mind you I noticed Kelly looked mortified too.
Yes and will most likely make the front page in the Sun 2morrow LOL
Been out tonight and just got in. What happened?
Are "The Brits" an awards ceremony? If so, what type: musice, movies, etc? Someone asked if people voted, so I am thinking it is like The People's Choice Awards we have here. Am I close?
Hi EngTeach, The Brits are the British version of the Grammys. x
Thanks for the info.. Amy W. won a few Grammy's too. Do you guys think she's as whacko as she seems? The drugs have really done a number on her, and she is quite talented.
She is a bit wacko and her husbands in prison at the moment. She seems to be benefitting from rehab though unlike Ms Spears! I really did think she would go the same way at one point though.
EngTeach. Are you an English teacher?
..because if so, Lucy's going to tell you off for writing Grammy's instead of Grammys.
Seemed a bit odd that Sharon singled out Vic Reeves for abuse because he 'was drunk' Alot of award givers and receivers seemed alot more worse for wear than Vic. Hardly in line with the Governments crack down on binge drinking. LOL, Ozzy is a fairly good advert for why you shoudlt drink too much or do drungs.
I think she just thought , 'oh get on with it you ****' and decided to say it out loud. Good on her. I don't think it was partcularly nasty though - all done in the spirit of the occasion.
I didn't see it, but I read that she swore at him because he took the mickey out of Kylie Minogue.

Quite right too...it should be illegal to take the mickey out of Kylie.

Treasonable offence.
The whole disgusting spectacle should be banned from our screens.

Are these odd-bods good role models for our young?
You're on the wrong thread oldgit - this question is about the Brit awards, not prime minister's question time.
Nice one ludwig, no objection to you including P.M.Q.T.

But I did mean Brit. awards.
I presume you watched it, then, AOG ?
Surely the Grammys have slightly more credibility than the Brits, which basically just hands out prizes to the first CDs plucked out at random from a 12 year old girl's collection?
Supernick

Just about all music/film/televsion awards shows are highly politicized. The winners at The Brits and Grammys for instance will win, not because they are deemed the best in any one year, but because they represent massive sales, or massive potential sales.

Amy Winehouse deservedly won last year because she's arguably the best British mainstream soul singer since...well, since Dusty Springfield (leaving aside that hollering harridan Annie flipping Lennox).
Sharon just likes being the centre of attention....she couldn't wait to jump in!
